Holy Monastery of St. George
The Holy Monastery of St. George is located on the south east side of Kerdyllia, above the village of Asprovalta and has a wonderful view over the bay of Strymonikos. The monastery is now abandoned and is dedicated to St. George.
Archaeological Museum of Amphipolis
The Archaeological Museum of Amphipolis is located in the archeological site of ancient Amphipolis, near the river Strymonas, close to the national road Thessaloniki-Kavala and within the walls of the ancient city itself.
Alistrati Cave
The Alistrati cave lies about 6 km southeast of Alistrati’s town at a place called “Petroto”. The expanse of the area is almost 14.000m2. The antechamber of the cave is 8 m height. It’s from this point that start different high galleries folly decorated with stalactites and stalagmites

Stagira was an ancient Greek city located near the eastern coast of the peninsula of Halkidiki , which is now part of the province of Central Macedonia . It is chiefly known for being the birthplace of Aristotle .If you want to see everything, you should know that you will need at least 2 to 3 hours and do not miss to see the coastal path, which is wonderful.

Philipps
The ancient city of Philipps was founded on the edge of the swamps that covered the southeastern part of the Drama plain. The city of Philipps is the most important archeological site of Eastern Macedonia. Its first inhabitants were settlers from Thassos, who founded in 360 BC. the colony of Krinides. The city flourished during the Hellenistic years.
